A special place for hockey moms (& even hockey dads) to share advice and experiences!
It is a fair, even-handed, noble adjustment of things, that while there is infection in disease and sorrow, there is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good-humor.

As a destination, Waterville Valley, NH (mentioned above under Roadtrips), is great. But the tournament format is really wierd, or confusing to players, coaches and parents.
Lake Placid was great. Went a couple years ago. Took forever to get the pictures from the company who took them. Make sure you walk up and down the main drag. Some great stores and soak in the 198o's rink, the kids might not get it, won;t understand what the big deal is, but adults will never forget it.
